Come hear three funeral professionals discuss the wide range of funeral practices and rituals available, including green burials and other options, as well as the important benefits of making funeral plans before it's necessary. By letting our loved ones know our preferences ahead of time, we give them a gift.

Joe Castro is a Nurse Case Coordinator at Good Shepherd Community Hospice and a former funeral director.
PANELISTS:
David Brezniak, Brezniak Rodman Funeral Directors
David Brezniak is a fourth generation funeral director, founding Brezniak-Rodman Funeral Directors in West Newton in 1992. He received his funeral directors license in 1967 and served as Vice-President of Levine Chapel until 1989. Levine Funeral Home was founded by Mr. Brezniak's great grandfather Jacob H. Levine in 1893 on Salem St. in the North End of Boston.
Heather Massey, In Loving Hands Home Funeral Consultation & Education
Heather Massey is the founder of “In Loving Hands”, a center for natural deathcare education on Cape Cod, providing consultation and educational services to individuals and families, in-services, as well to medical and hospice facilities and organizations. She is also a facilitator of the Cape Cod Death Cafe and monthly Death Education classes in Falmouth, and the Living with Dying discussion group in Woods Hole. Ms. Massey will discuss the practical aspects of home and family based natural deathcare, funeral options, and the ways in which loved ones of the deceased are able to naturally honor and commemorate life and loss.
Andrew J. "A.J." Urquhart, MacDonald, Rockwell, & MacDonald Funeral Service
Andrew J. "A.J." Urquhart joined the firm in 2011 as an associate. He is a Watertown resident, a graduate of Matignon High School and St. Michael's College in Vermont, an Alumni of St. Michael's College baseball team, a member of St. Patrick's Parish in Watertown, and a founding member of the St. Patrick's Young Professionals Group. He furthered his studies at the Commonwealth Institute in Houston Texas where he received his Associate Degree in Funeral Service in 2010.
