On Saturday, February 29 from 1-3 pm, Functional and Integrative Dietitian Tamara Luck, RDN, LDN of Bird’s Hill Compounding Pharmacy will be at Farm Grill, 40 Needham Street, Newton--sharing fun facts, answering questions about Mediterranean ingredients and recipes, and illustrating her points with sample foods.
The educational program follows US News & World Reports’ ranking of the Mediterranean Diet, emphasizing vegetables, legumes, olive oil, fish and more, as “best diet overall”. Not only can it support weight loss; it may help reduce heart disease and stave off cancers.
For more information on the 1-3 pm program on February 29, which will also include a raffle, please contact Farm Grill at 617-964-7766 or Bird’s Hill Pharmacy at 781-449-0550.
